Ragan's Peach Orchard is located on Hwy. 292 in Inman North Carolina. You would drive by without giving a second glance, but you should probably pull in. You'll learn a lot about Peaches. If you make a joke about Georgia Peaches you may get a free Peach. Unknown to many South Carolina grows more Peaches th Georgia.

Old Town Carolina Beach has been a fixture in the local seashore tourist business for 100 years. The Old Town portion of the beach is very small and compact, but has all of the tourist type venues that you would expect. Chief amongst these is Britt's Donuts. In fact this is a famous local pastry bakery dating to 1932.

Strawberry Hill is located in Chesnee SC. It’s a farmers market that also serves a hearty breakfast lunch and dinner meal. The menus’ classic Americana as the setting is pure country. You can sit outside on the rocking chairs or picnic tables as you wait for your table. The turnover is quick so be patient.

The rides are fast-paced and for young kids they will really get a lot out of these. For older adults we've seen this and done this before, so I did not see many parents on the attractions. The lines are minimal unlike the theme parks that we go to. But this is no theme park. Worth one visit for sure.

The park is undergoing extensive renovations and it will upgrade the facilities substantially once they're complete. Unfortunately the dinosaur exhibit, which was the best part of the day, is temporary. But once the park is upgraded I think it's going be a great attraction for that you should consider for membership.
MOSI: Worn but worth it.
MOSI TAMPA MUSEUM SCIENCE INDUSTRY
MOSI has been a fixture in the Tampa Bay area for decades. Unfortunately it shows. It's been 30 years since I've been here but the museum has definitely reduced its size and is a fraction of what it used to be. Although still interesting, the displays are dated and the interactive exhibits are worn. Its too bad.

Every summer starting in May the market moves to Williams Park. The park is mostly shaded and even in the heat of day you can enjoy an easy stroll. It’s a potpourri of local vendors and you can get organic vegetables, T-shirts, sundries and local food. Come early if you want to avoid the heat but do come.

Dollywood in Pigeon Forge TN also has a water park. Splash village is a competitive attraction and a great one for the family in the summertime.
